What if We Did Not Have Enough Fresh Water

What if a major part of the world did not have enough fresh water? What if there was too much pollution in the water for humans and animals to drink? What if healthcare of people and the local eco-system and animal kingdom was so bad that the species got into trouble? What if droughts plus the over use of the water supplies caused water to be so shallow that the sun heated it to a point that fish could not live in it and died. What if the water completely ran dry and there was no water for villages, towns and cities that relied on the water for people.

What if those waterways filled with sewage and pollution until the next rain? What if the rain did come finally and washed the water down river and into a lake and then the ocean eventually? What if fertilizers and nitrates from the lawns of golf courses, center medians or farmer fields ran into the streams, rivers and into the oceans and lakes causing large algae blooms. What if these algae blooms turned poisonous and killed sea life and fish in our lakes? What if this same water was used for city drinking water? What if the population increased and the needs on the water supply was too great and caused people to die?

What if there was not enough water to farm or drink? Since all these things are happening now around our planet and it is getting worse shouldn’t we be doing something about it? Think on it, as time is running out for many.
